Tuscany Candle Christmas Wax Melts Reviews - 2015

This is a review of Tuscany Candle Christmas Wax Melts from 2015. I found these at Joann Fabric.

Baked Apple Pie
A slightly caramel apple scent with maybe a hint of spice. Not really an apple pie scent, but nice anyway. I didn't buy it because I have a lot of similar scents.

By The Chimney
This smells like sweet cedar scented soap with perhaps a hint of barely detectable leather. It's not smoky, which is what you'd expect from a chimney scent. On cold sniff it has a faint Fels Naptha industrial soap note, which I hope doesn't come out when it's melted. It's a really different kind of scent, and I like it. I didn't have to worry about the Fels Naptha scent coming out when melted, because I could barely smell anything.

Christmas Cranberry
A super tart cranberry scent, not very sweet. Actually it smells more like tart grape or wine. Yep, when melted, it's red wine, with a little bit of a sour fermentation note. This must be a scent that was used before with a different name. It's not a bad scent, but not something I would want my house to smell like.

Christmas Spice
I didn't buy this one. It's straight cinnamon.

Evergreen & Balsam
This smells almost exactly like Frosted Spruce, a typical Christmas tree scent, but without the eucalyptus that's in Frosted Spruce. I didn't buy it because I have a lot of similar scents.

First Frost
This smells like amber and baby powder with a hint of sweet tobacco, like an incensey type scent. Nothing frosty about it, and no mint. It's most likely a scent they've used before but with a different name. I love the scent though!

Frosted Spruce
Smoky spruce pine scent with maybe a slight hint of eucalyptus. Very similar to Evergreen & Balsam, but with the eucalyptus note. I didn't buy it because I have a lot of similar scents.

Fruit Garland
Smells fantastic on cold sniff, although light and I can't figure out the notes. It smells like a vanilla cookie with maybe a hint of anise and just a smidgen of bayberry, and a sweet smoky note almost like tobacco, and maybe a smidgen of clove.

Gingerbread House
Typical fall spice scent with cinnamon and maybe a hint of nutmeg. I didn't buy it.

Peppermint
Smells like a candy cane, a nice sweet mint, and not overly pepperminty.

Shortbread
This is their Lemon Sugar Cookie scent, and other sweet lemon scented melts that they come out with from time to time. There are no lemons on the label of this Shortbread scent, so I'm not sure why they decided to go with lemon. It's a very nice sweet bakery lemon scent nonetheless, probably one of the best lemon scents I've ever smelled in a wax melts. But it's not a shortbread scent.

Sugar Plums
This smells a little like raspberry linzer cookies. I smell tart fruit and vanilla cookie. The fruit is so tart it almost has a creamy lemony note. This fantastic scent is not salty or buttery, and not even very sweet.
